I try to make a tradition out of going to this festival! I love ❤️ Ann Arbor’s Art Fair 🖼! Vendors come from all over the world and they really have unique pieces wherever you turn #annarborartfair#smores#llbean
In 1989 6 men and 36 sled dogs from 6 different countries departed on a 220 day expedition to be the first people to ever cross Antarctica on foot. These men endured temperatures as low as -150 degrees.. Their journey came to an end in March 1990 when they completed the expedition. The North Face designed all the outerwear for the excursion. Here is an original 1990 Trans Antarctica Gore-Tex jacket size medium! Made in the USA 🇺🇸.. DM us for details
Hi all!! It’s been a while since I posted anything to this page. I have been doing a lot of thinking on exactly what direction I want to take my page in and what my real goals are. When I started this page I had all the intentions of just changing my lifestyle. This mainly included going to the gym everyday, changing what I ate and losing lots of weight. Which in turn would leave me looking great and feeling great. I envisioned myself on a one way trip to success, but sometimes things just don’t work out like we plan. I didn’t have the right mindset when I created the page and I had A LOT of things to deal with on the inside before I could change anything on the outside. While, there are still things I need to take care of on the inside, I think I am finally ready to compliment my mental work with some physical work.
So, instead of making my goal: gym+better diet = weight loss. I am giving myself something more obtainable to work for.
In 2013 I decided to run for my highschool Cross Country team. I went from the couch to 10 miles in the very first practice. At the beginning it was the hardest thing. I wanted to give up everyday. I would constantly tell myself “I can’t do this” “I’m not fast enough”. But I kept showing up everyday. I kept putting the work in. I learned how to control my mind and my body. Pretty soon running became the best part of my day. I looked forward to every practice and every race. It didn’t matter what the weather was, how fast I was or where I placed (which was always last 🤷🏼♀️). So, my goal is to run (and finish) the @boilermaker15k in July 2020. I will be starting my training at the beginning of August. This will include road & trail running as well as some weight training days in the gym (@planetfitness ) just to help my build a little muscle. I also plan to run a few 5k races in my area this fall and at least one in February/March 2020.
I am excited to share my journey and can’t wait to taste some good old @saranacbrewery at the finish line next July! 🏃🏼♀️🍺😁
