A day at the racetrack for some corner-training. It was fun and very educational. My BMW is not the limiting factor, I am!
Thnx @schnelle_elles for arranging this training.
Road trips can be great opportunities to catch up and talk but they can also be tiring to have to chat or talk the entire trip when all you want to do is zone out and listen to music. Are you an extrovert or introvert when it comes to road trips?
How easily do you get bored?

Since starting The Travel Project two years ago we could probably count the amount of times we’ve been bored on one hand. Thinking about it, this is one of the best things about the project.
You might be thinking ‘oh course they’re not bored, they’re always travelling’ however the truth is we’re often not travelling. We actually spend far more time in London than we do out of it. But the project keeps us busy, we’re always scheming up new adventure ideas, different directions we can take it or learning how to use our cameras better!
We called it The Travel Project because that’s exactly what it is - a project that allows us to explore our creative skills and love of travel. It keeps our easily distracted minds engaged, focuses us and saves us from the boredom of boredom!

What Are you Grateful For Today?

Germany has been beautiful and charming. We love meandering the smaller roads to the next destination. Fussen to Oberammergau to Rothenburg to Baden-Baden (which feels totally different than the first three). Black Forest drive tomorrow and then on to Switzerland! #mccannsmeander#germany#roadtripping
Day Seven: Was entirely driving but this picture probably shows how we feel about how much faster at driving we are than others on the road. Thank goodness no speeding tickets! 🚗💨

Stunning, beautiful views seen while ascending towards one of California’s hidden gems today! This was during our trip here to Hearst Castle in San Simeon, CA. This was another one of our TRIO+Ian outings. I was with my cousin, Loraine and Ian at the time. So, here’s a quick summary of our trip this day: The weather was beautiful and sunny out for an outing. The drive (both ways) was around 3 hours, and roughly 200 miles or so, give or take. Much of the road was down U.S. 101. We all met at the Hearst Castle parking lot. We took the tour around the 1 p.m. hour, the Upstairs Suites Tour. The tour was quite unique and we heard and learned a lot about the castle’s artifacts, history and more. Our tour guide’s name was Wayne. We kept bumping into him even after the tour so we even managed to snatch a group pic with him before leaving the site. We had to call it a day early, at least for me and my cousin, since my cousin had a meeting to attend to the same evening… It was a short trip, but it’s nice to actually go on my first ‘real’ road trip with my new Honda Civic Sedan LX (aside from storm chasing in the valley)! Phew, going on trips can be quite exhausting to say the least! Anyways, safe travels everyone!

Excited to return to the southwest next week, been packing and cleaning out my car for the journey. Here's a slot canyon from last April || 📸: @dog_hugs
