In love with these mini tourist trains. 🚞😍 Most of the european countries have these mini tourist trains which give you a city tour of the most scenic and historic places in the town.
I have spotted these trains in different places of europe:
1) Flam, Norway
2) Cochem, Germany
3) Monschau, Germany
The German town of Cochem was heavily bombed during WWII. It has been beautifully restored over several decades. Goodbye 🇩🇪...Off to Luxembourg.

The Reichsburg Cochem. 🏰
An imperial castle dating back to the 1100's!
It's been ruled by many Kings, including French King Louis XIV when in 1688 the French invaded the Moselle regions of the palatinate and laid waste to the castle and the entire town of Cochem.
Then, in 1868 a Berlin businessman by the name of Louis Ravené purchased the castle for just 300 Goldmark and began constructing a new castle using elements of the original castle but erecting his own new castle, in a Neo-Gothic fashion.
After the castle changed hands a few more times throughout history, it is currently owned by the town of Cochem.
Can’t believe I never actually shared this outtake from my #Cochem adventure 🤩 As much as I was traumatized by the experience of shedding sparkles all over the castle, I’m still looking up evening gowns. I’ll never be one of those instagrammers, though. At least, not until I have a drivers license 😂 I’m not lugging dresses in public transport again in 35 degree heat! 😵
