take a walk after lunch 🥗
one fantastic thing I find in Seoul is that
historical places like this are surrounded
by grey buildings, centre of the city.
It feels like stepping into a secret garden ✨
wonder where am I? LOL
it's called Deoksugung Palace(덕수궁).
got there with my friend, Thomas a few days ago, just for a walk after my early dinner. :)
it was free of charge to those who're less than 24 or over 65 so I just got in after showing my ID and get a free ticket.
there were lots of structures inside and aren't they beautiful?
oh plus, some kind of an event was performing.
I think it was Pansori, Korean traditional music, reciting a dramatic song.
anyway, have a nice day to all of u~ XD
Do you like old palaces? 🤗 I love visiting old palaces and it always amaze me to see an old palace surrounded by modern buildings. Seoul is a perfect place to show how tradition and modern can coexist in harmony. You can find Deoksugung Palace in the center of city surrounded by hotels, department stores, museums and government buildings. When I visit the palace on weekdays, I always see people taking a walk along the famous stonewall path with their colleagues during lunch time. What'd be a better way to take a break and recharge yourself from busy life than walking along the beautiful path?💕 Another way to appreciate the beauty of Deoksugung Palace is to go to Jeongdong Observatory and gaze over it from 13th floor. The view is breathtaking, especially during Spring and Autumn. But I heard that it also looked amazing on snowy day so I'm looking forward to see the palace covered by snow in winter 😘

When your job takes you to places like this! It’s my first time in Korea and I’m beyond grateful. Especially to have some quality time bonding and working with my Dior colleagues here! 사랑해 🇰🇷

A Seoul's View: Deoksugung Palace.
Deoksugung Palace is one of five royal palaces remained in Seoul, and its old name was 'Geongungung Palace.' Visitors can see Korean and Western style buildings such as Seokjoseon at the same time. Let's see the peaceful scenery of Deoksugung palace located at the corner of Seoul's busiest downtown intersection.
