What two gentlemen, two legends and a masters of basketball. They celebrated basketball in the '80s and shared America and the whole world. However, they respected each other and appreciated each other. Then everyone would be cheering for their NBA team, but everything would eventually be revealed to Boston and Lakers. Two things are sure they were the best players of that period and their field matches will always be a part of history. Larry Bird and Magic Johnson.❤

Ryan Hollin’s ESPN career is a joke. How in the world is he getting paid to be a sports analysts? Saying that Miami isn’t a big three is straight up disrespecting all of Chris Bosh’s career. The 2011-2014 Miami Heat was a team with three stars. It was not a Wade and LeBron duo. It was clearly a trio between Wade, LeBron and Bosh.
Bosh was a clear cut star before joining the Heat. He was an All-NBA caliber player, and a top fifteen player in the league. Chris Bosh could do it all, he was a great finisher, a great mid range shooter, a stretch big, and a solid rebounder. While there was a statistical drop in Chris Bosh’s stats, there was a drop in LeBron’s stats and Wade’s stats as well. Their drop wasn’t as significant because they were both top ten players, and were better than Bosh.
LeBron and Wade played nearly the same way as they did before, just with a bit more passing. However, Bosh sacrificed his stats for the team’s success. If Chris Bosh didn’t agree to work on his three point shot all year long, Miami would’ve had a problem with the spacing. Chris Bosh attempted 15% less shots at the rim the first season he was in Miami, and by the last season they were together, Chris Bosh’s three point attempts were up a lot. Chris Bosh originally only attempted 2% of his shots from 3, and by the fourth season, over 22% of his shot attempts were from deep.
Just because his stats went down, doesn’t mean he wasn’t a star anymore. If Chris Bosh wasn’t there, LeBron and Wade would have won one championship max. Without Chris Bosh’s offensive rebound, the Ray Allen three pointer would have never happened. Chris Bosh was an important part of that team, and Miami definitely had a big three.
