#LoveRoadTrip #LoveUtah #LoveAmerica
50 years ago, I was a 12 year old on a summer camping trip with my family. We camped at Camp Edison located at Sequoia National Park in California. This campground had electric outlets at most campsites, which at that time was pretty cool technology 🤗. When the Apollo 11 Lunar module landed on the Moon 🌕 a camper had the foresight to bring a TV 📺 (black and white of course). They set it up and with rabbit ears was able to tune in to the moon landing and then the moon walk. When we heard about this we went running over and with about 30 plus people watched as history was unfolding!! It was an exciting moment for all of us and this memory will stay with me always! I was in absolute awe with what I was seeing!! Let’s keep that excitement going as we look forward to further journeys in space 🛸💫🌝🌎🌞 #Apollo11#spacejourney#moonwalk#loveamerica#NASA#astronauts#1969
This morning I went up to see this flag that flies between 2 canyons. It's an amazing site. Last night gust winds tore up Big Betsy and they needed to bring her down. This will be the last time she flies. Another flag (Major) was put up in honor of a soldier who died in Afghanistan earlier this year
